Suprematism (1915–1925)

Kazimir Malevich's declaration that painting could exist entirely without objects. Pure geometric shapes — squares, rectangles, circles, crosses — float against white in compositions that suggest movement, gravity, and spatial tension without depicting anything. The palette is almost entirely black, red, and white. There is no metaphor; only sensation.
